These +P 148 grain full wadcutters are rather potent and were tested in S&W Airweight 1 & 7/8ths" J frames as well as 4" and 6" guns.

J Frame: 820 FPS

4" K Frame: 885 FPS

Usually the standard factory wadcutter ammo (big name brand) is in the high 600s low 700s, velocity wise, when fired from a 2" revolver. This heavy hitting load is designed to penetrate deep and straight. No gimmicks just Old School performance.
